Aequitas Orbis

Videogame  |  Ludi Dorici  |  November 2, 2017
Original soundtrack and sound design

A game about 2D space battles and gravity fields. The soundtrack was heavily inspired by old school arcades and synthwave, integrating classic retro sonorities with modern production techniques in order to balance the strong pixel art aesthetic with the complex physics of the game’s orbital mechanics. All SFX were created in an 8-bit fashion (using mostly analog synthesizers and minimal digital processing), in order to enhance the retro-game like pixel art aesthetic of the game.
